How The Pricing Works
Coat type sets your service tier, size sets the price. Extreme matting or heavy undercoat can mean extra time — if so, we'll always let you know before any extra costs are incurred. Your dog's wellbeing is always our priority.
Coat Type
Short-haired, double-coated, or long/curly coated/clipping — your dog's coat determines the base service tier.
Size
Five weight bands, from small dogs up to giant breeds, scale the price within that coat type.
Included As Standard
Nail clipping is built into every price below — never charged as an add-on. De-shedding is included wherever it's part of the groom.

Short Haired Dogs — Bath & Nails
Bath, blow-dry, brush-out, and nails. One tier — this coat type doesn't need clipper styling.

Double Coated Dogs — Groom-Out
De-shedding service: deep bath, blow-out, undercoat removal, and nails. De-shedding is part of this price, not an add-on. Heavily matted or very dense coats may take longer.

Long & Curly Haired Dogs
Breeds whose coats grow continuously and need regular clipping. Choose a Bath & Tidy for maintenance between grooms, or a Full Groom for the complete clip and style.

Bath & Tidy
Bath, blow-dry, a tidy of the face/feet/hygiene areas, and nails — coat length unchanged. The maintenance groom between full grooms.

Puppy's First Groom — under 4 months
A gentle introduction to grooming: bath, blow-dry, light tidy, and nails — taken at the puppy's pace with plenty of breaks and treats, so their first groom is a happy one.

ⓘ Booking more than one dog at the same visit? Take $10 off per dog. Giant dogs (51 kg+) are priced on application — every giant breed's coat and condition is different, so we quote individually rather than publish a flat rate.
Add-ons & Extras
Nail clipping is always included in the service price — never an add-on. These extras are charged only when needed and are not included in the Spring Has Sprung discount.
Medicated / Specialty Shampoo
For sensitive, itchy, or problem coats. $7 for small and medium dogs, $12 for larger sizes.
Matting / Extra De-shedding
For matted or very dense coats needing work beyond the included session. Clipped off, never torn through. $25 per 15 min — always quoted before we start.
Advanced Handling
Extra time and care for anxious or difficult dogs. No sedation — we always reserve the right to stop the groom for safety. From $25, assessed on the day.
Our Matting Welfare Policy
Badly matted coats are clipped off, not torn through. We stop the groom rather than cause distress — your dog's comfort and safety always comes first.
Surcharge Triggers
We'll always tell you before we charge extra. Common triggers: severe matting, flea treatment & clean-down, or a heavily soiled coat that needs extra time.
